Assignment >
At the beginning of each summer, top high school athletes from the spring sports season are recognized in this special community section. The Results > I took special care to represent all of the six sports that were highlighted inside. I like the balance of the design and how it radiates out from the main headline. The repeated block shapes -- the headline, the two boxed photos and even the cutline -- give the design a stable base, while the cutouts infuse it with life and additional movement.
