The Food editor was running a story about the versatility of the lemon as an ingredient for both foods and drinks. The Results > I hit upon the idea of portraying a lemon as a similarly versatile object, a Swiss Army-type knife. I drew the illustration with colored pencil outlined with pen and ink. Then I scanned it and cleaned up the drawing in Photoshop.
