This feature was a compilation of readers' letters about their fondest recollections of summer. There were dozens of letters about road trips, visiting family and exploring nature.

The Results >
A photo album or scrapbook seemed like a good visual device to represent all of these varied memories. The photos were all picked because they were appropriately generic, but they still represented specific themes from the letters. Despite the fact that the whole design was cobbled together in the computer, I think the illustration looks realistic; it has depth and texture.
